"I am Kamiljit Batth and I am the owner of the business. I make all products with ingredients that have been sourced from around the globe. I use knowledge from my Indian heritage to develop a skincare range with a difference. After a lot of research, I discovered many ingredients that could be used to develop skincare products that were clean, vegan and organic. I have also completed a number of skincare courses."
Tell us more about your company.
Natural Soul is a skincare brand that has been specially developed for those who prefer a more natural lifestyle with individual well-being in mind. Natural Soul, as a company, operates in a way that benefits society and the environment.
Sustainable beauty products have been developed by combining Eastern and Western knowledge. Natural Soul products are the root of beauty. Everyone needs the earth. Natural Soul focuses on 100% natural, organic, vegan, ethical, green, and sustainable beauty – making it right for men, women, and the planet
I decided to develop Natural Soul Skincare because I found that most skincare brands were expensive and contained a lot of ingredients that I did not recognise. After a lot of research, I discovered many ingredients that could be used to develop skincare products that were clean, vegan and organic.
Is there a specific product you've particularly proud of and why?
I am particularly proud of the Superfruits facial oil because of the multitude of benefits. I feel it is a truly super product and feels absolutely lovely on your skin. I am particularly passionate about the ingredients used in this product. It contains anti-bacterial properties and improves the complexion and tone of your skin by increasing skin elasticity. Reduces breakouts and provides relief from skin conditions.
What do you most enjoy about your business?
I enjoy the aspect of being in control of what ingredients I use on my skin. I have always enjoyed growing my own ingredients and making my own skincare products.
For the founder/face of the brand - when not working, what do they enjoy doing?
I enjoy keeping fit such as swimming and running and yoga. It is very important to me to be able to be outdoors since it gives me a sense of wellbeing.
How many people work for the business?
I just launched the business in April so at the minute its just me. All products are hand-made.
Who do you sell your products to?
At the minute I am selling my products locally, to family and to friend.
What are your ambitions for the company?
At the minute I only ship in the UK. I would like to be able to ship internationally and grow my skincare brand.
What do you think of the free Product Guru platform? What encouraged you to join?
I think the Product Guru platform is a great way for me to show my products to a number of suppliers, that I wouldn’t otherwise reach. This is especially important to me because I am a new business and I feel that my business is not widely known enough.
